Celtic Cross
A celtic cross (also known as an Irish cross) is a variation of the more traditional crucifix commonly associated with Christianity. The defining characteristics of a Celtic cross is the circle which encompasses the intersection at the center of the cross. Although similar to the crucifix, the celtic cross has a history which predates the birth of Jesus Christ. Though some speculate, the exact meaning of this enigmatic symbol remains a mystery.
